Of course, one of the biggest elements in restoring a log home is the stain.   There are many factors to consider regarding the stain you want on your home.  There are some very good quality stains on the market and there are some very inexpensive stains out there too.   The inexpensive stains are inexpensive for a reason.

We recommend that you select a quality stain.   They will last longer and look better.  We pride ourselves on meticulous surface preparation as mentioned in our media blasting and cleaning links.   If the surface prep is not done right, the best stain on the market will not look good and its longevity will suffer.

In terms of how we apply the stain, we always brush it on because we feel this is the most thorough and effective way to apply it.   We also use premium, quality brushes to ensure a smooth, even application.
